Our ideal candidate has the following qualities:

 

Software Quality is Engineering You must be an outstanding engineer. A degree in engineering, a high GPA, and outstanding accomplishments to date are a must. (We also work with cooperative engineering departments, so if you are still a student, check with your coop advisor).

 

Software Testing is distinct from software development You must love test engineering and want to do it as a career. We have our niche and we intend to stay with it. If you aspire to be a developer, you need to work at a company that does development. Of course, as we grow, there will be growth opportunities within the company. If you want to manage a project or a team or try your hand at Marketing or Sales, you’ll get your chance at Provaré.

 

Software Testers are Flexible You need to be flexible. If you can wear hats stacked to the ceiling, quickly switch from one task to another, and find a way to make lemonade out of lemons, you’ll love it at Provaré.

 

Provare Technology employees are also owners Provaré is an employee-owned company. Software Testing is a career, not a job We’re looking for long-term employees who want careers, not jobs. Mercenaries need not apply. Yet we don’t rule out part-time employment as so many high-tech companies do. If you are a mother with young children and want to work less than full time, we may be able to find a position for you.

 

Provare Technology requires mature, competent employees. All of our employees have frequent customer interaction and many work on our customers’ premises. You must be able to get along well with others and you must be able to serve your customers not just competently, but gladly.
