Sandi Tepper grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1990.

Immediately after finishing her degree, Sandi went to work at Dynetics, Inc., a defense contractor, working in the Electro-Optics Department. There Sandi worked on electro-optic and acousto-optic signal processors, learned how to manage and administer projects both large and small, and researched counter-measures for laser-guided anti-tank munitions.

After moving to Atlanta in 1994, Sandi went to work at BellSouth Mobility (now Cingular Wireless) as an RF Engineer on the Performance Team. Sandi advanced quickly and moved into the RF Planning group doing cell site design and frequency planning as well as long-term planning for the system. She then moved into the Network Planning group and performed traffic analysis, voice channel forecasting and transport planning and design.

In October of 2000 Sandi moved to AT&T Wireless as the Senior Performance Engineer. There she was responsible for overseeing the technical duties of 7 other engineers as well as maintaining the overall quality of the network. She was the vendor contact for both channel and cell site growth projects and was the lead on other special investigations and projects. She stepped in for the Department manager whenever necessary – handling both the members of her team and the coordination with other departments. In November of 2002, Sandi left AT&T Wireless to stay home with her new baby.

She joined the Provare Technology team in late August 2004 as the Corporate Secretary and as the Team Lead for Wireless Engineering.
